Getting Windows 10 working has been a fight but knowing I never have to lug my Xbox One downstairs again makes it worth it.

Remote play right? Now how does it task the system? Any frame rate issues?

No taxing on either the PC or the Xbox. The router does all the heavy lifting and given that I have the shittiest router in the world, I’m guessing it will work great for everyone. Horizon 2 played fine but looks a bit rough but from what I can see 30fps games will be fine. I’m trying a bunch of 60fps games now to see how good it really is.

No frame rate problems on 30fps games from what I can see on my network. I’m trying Halo and Forza 5 to see how 60fps holds up.

I can't even connect without trouble. Maybe I should try again today, on my new PC (used it on my 3 yr old HP).

Do you have to use an xbone controller? Wondering if this could be a work around to using non-certified steering wheels with Forza

I don’t know. However I do know that non Microsoft controllers work on windows by tricking it unto believing one is plugged in so there is probably software that will allow for a work around.

What specs on the PC?

Spec? The Xbox and the router do all the work so specs are irrelevant. You can do this on a raspberry pi.
